This study examines the feasibility, challenges, and potential benefits of further developing Greenhouse Soilless Agriculture in Greece, a sector currently dominated by hydroponic cultivation methods. It also focuses on assessing how hydroponics can contribute to sustainable agriculture, resource efficiency, regional economic development, and food security. Within this context, the study explores a range of factors, including the adoption of new technologies, environmental impacts, economic viability, and potential institutional and financial interventions to support the expansion of Greenhouse Soilless Agriculture in Greece.
