ΙΟΒΕ in collaboration with Applied Greek-French Dialogues, the Hellenic American Union, the Hellenic American University, and CITRONNE Gallery, present Muriel Pénicaud, former Minister of Labor of France and former Ambassador of France to the OECD, at the special event "The Shape of the Future" on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Hellenic American Union (22 Massalias, Athens).

As part of the event, a speech - intervention (in English) by Muriel Pénicaud will be held, entitled “The Future of Work: a Work Tsunami”, under the auspices of IOBE, on the major challenges facing the international labor market and aiming to encourage a fruitful dialogue with an international audience and contribute to the understanding of the key issues that determine the future of work. The talk will focus on demographic changes, the green transition and environmental challenges, the impact of Artificial Intelligence and how all of these affect and transform employment and the labor market. A discussion will follow with the General Director of IOBE, Professor of Athens University of Economics, Nikos Vettas. The event will take place at 18:00 at the Hellenic American Union Theater.

The IOBE event will be followed by the opening of Muriel Pénicaud’s photographic exhibition “Matrix of Worlds” which will take place at 19:30 at the Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas Gallery of the Hellenic American Union. The exhibition Matrix of Worlds is Muriel Pénicaud’s first photographic appearance in Greece. It is curated by Dr. Tatiana Spinari-Pollali, Art Historian and Director of CITRONNE Gallery.
